We made the game REAL! The boxset is on sale NOW from TheGameCrafter.com

The boxset is beautifully printed (and we’ve update the Board design from the video – see the action shots on the listing page). It is such a delight to hold and looks great in action AND on the shelf!

Additionally, we have written a new DM-mode into the Player’s Handbook for those of you that want to run the game more traditionally. The system is a very light form of DnD taking more of the aesthetics and general concepts than the full system. Everything is d6 based and there is no health to track etc.

We will also be running a Crowd Sale soon that will help reduce cost of each copy sold by ordering all at once! To be notified of when the sale goes live, use the form below. This will only be used to notify you when the time comes – at the moment, we expect to push that live in later November.

Ware-wolf Campfire Stories

Ware-wolf Campfire Stories is a jam-type collaborative project made by devs in the Playdate community to celebrate the expanded abilities of the Pulp game environment.. and Halloween!

This is a gift to all Playdate players and also a fantastic showcase of what Pulp can do. A new Pulp Game Switcher made by Shaun Inman of Panic has been released (originally developed to help Pine come out on Playdate Catalog). This gave us the capability to drastically expand what a Pulp project can become.

Fifteen Dev teams came together to create games in about a 10-day window and then package them into a gameplay switcher. In Ware-wolf Campfire Stories, 5 kids are sitting around a fire with their counselor telling spoooooky tales! Each story launches a separate game that you may win or lose…. with consequences.

The counselor will remember games played and with 14 unique ‘stories’ you’ll need to progress the night multiple times to play them all!

You were knocked out, and your party is stranded in the Dungeon of N’ven. You Cannot move. This is not a Dungeon Crawler, but a Dungeon Puzzler! Survive until you meet the Dwarf King. He may free you.. If you are Worthy!

Welcome to the.. HALL of the DWARF KING

The game plays out over 7 creature encounters before the Dwarf King arrives. While you can try to survive solo on the Playdate, we encourage playing via Mirror / Pass’n’Play for a co-op puzzle crawling experience!

Hall of the Dwarf King is designed to play Solo or with Printed Materials! You can Print-and-Cut the Dungeon Screenshot Gameboard, Creature Cards and Power Tiles to play Hall of the Dwarf King IN REAL LIFE. The Playdate will guide your session – use these materials for Visuals, Encounter order and Roleplay!

IF you are a Player that just wants something to Grind, run the encounters numerous times to learn stats per Creature, per Round. Numbers Go Up and there are rewards for Completionists all along the way!

Serve pups treatos all over the world in this arcade-style, round-based, Root-like score-chaser!

Every time you open your ‘cup cart’ you’ll find a line of pups just waiting for some delicious whipped treats. Crank forward to fill the cup to the Good Boy Zone and Crank back to serve. Be careful not to make a mess!

In Borks mode, use the D-Pad to add toppings & headpats for a time bonus. That’s right.. YOU CAN PET THE DOG!

All dogs pay in tail wags. Each round is a minute(?) How many Pups can you Cup?

Off-Planet Dreams

Off-Planet Dreams is an invisible puzzle platformer where dying is feedback, death is information. As you move about each level, your mind will fill in the blanks and any deaths are simply an instant restart showing you where Not to go.

But accessibility is key! In all invisible levels, you have the ability to:

Peek – see what is immediately around you
Paint – leave a trail wherever you have touched
Show – fully reveal the level from the B menu

The game pulls strong inspirations from N+, deBlob, A Boy and his Blob, as well as Mario and Mario Maker Kaizo levels.

Off-Planet Dreams features:

Difficulty is what you make of it. Game mechanics will escalate throughout Off-Planet Dreams and you will find that it is more than a grid of dots.. but we’ll leave it to you to experience.. to Wake Up.

ART7 is an open-world 1-bit Art Gallery for the Playdate Handheld Console.

ART-O-Ween: Night at the Gallery is a Spooky adventure game set on the expanded grounds of ART7, including new characters, mechanics, and an all-new ART-O-Ween exhibit from members of the Playdate Community!

In ART-O-Ween, you spend a night guarding the gallery due to some.. circumstances. Try to keep things clean while helping out members of the community. You can Win! You can Lose! You can Die! You’ll enjoy some new ART! Grab a costume and enjoy a… Night at the Gallery!

ART&.. More is an open-world 1-bit ART gallery for Playdate with exploration/collecting, fishing and arcade games!

Your character, Bop, is a little floating eyeball enjoying the new exhibits. Wander through the gallery, talk to patrons, visit the giftshop and explore the grounds!
